Nearly 150 participants in Mārupe found all the eggs!

Last weekend at the Mārupe Youth Center “Hēlijs”, active leisure enthusiasts met to set off together on a 4-hour adventure through the streets of Mārupe and search for checkpoints. The event took place in a pleasant atmosphere, ending just as the first raindrops began, which started together with the yellow warning and a storm.

In total, participants had the opportunity to visit 3 different types of checkpoints – regular, task, and secret egg points. While at the regular checkpoints all that was needed was to scan a QR code slip with a phone, at the task checkpoints Mārupe youth made participants solve riddles, throw balls, and even roll eggs, while at the secret checkpoints it was possible to obtain clues to five hidden golden eggs. For each found golden egg and correctly completed task, the team could earn an additional 5 points.

Two teams managed to visit all checkpoints within the time limit – “Kāļci” and “Ādaži City”. Strong performances were also shown by the women’s teams “Dzintarlapsas” and “TDK Pumpuriņi”. Among the family groups, the fastest feet were in the teams “ZAJEC”, “Satriecošs un pārsteidzošs”, as well as “Klinšu ērgļi”.

At the finish, teams had the opportunity to enjoy festive braided bread, chocolate and regular eggs, and the youngest participants also took part in a prize draw.

The event is funded within the Mārupe Municipality project competition “Mārupe – our home 2025”.
