100 and 50 kilometer hike "k-100"

EVENT DATE: June 20–21, 2026

START AND FINISH LOCATION:  Guest house “Satekas”, Vecumnieki parish, Bauska municipality.

THE GOAL OF THE EVENT is to promote active outdoor recreation and challenge participants to test their limits. Participants will explore the beautiful landscapes of Bauska municipality and enjoy local hospitality at checkpoints.

RULES

EVENT FORMAT: Two hikes:

1. A hike with a 26-hour time limit, route length 100 km.

2. A hike with a 13-hour time limit, route length 50 km.

Participants start at the specified time and location. The goal is to complete the 100 km or 50 km route within the given time limit.

By registering, participants confirm they have read the rules and agree to follow them.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Respect nature and property. Do not litter.

  2. Wild animals may be encountered. Be cautious.

  3. Follow traffic rules when on public roads.

  4. Failure to follow rules may lead to disqualification. Participation under influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.

  5. Be careful near water bodies.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS

  1. Reflective vest and headlamp required in darkness.

  2. Carry a charged mobile phone.

  3. Participants receive a laminated ID card which must be visible.

  4. Notify organizers if withdrawing.

  5. Support persons allowed only at start/finish/checkpoints.

  6. Participants accept responsibility for injuries.

  7. Transport must be arranged individually.

  8. Help others in distress.

  9. Safety must be observed at all times.

  10. Results will be published publicly.

  11. Photos/videos may be used for publicity.

  12. Participation from age 18.

TERRAIN

The route includes forest trails, gravel roads, asphalt roads, sidewalks, and some highway sections.

100 km consists of two 50 km loops.

50 km consists of one loop.

REGISTRATION

Registration open from April 24 to June 14, 2026.

PARTICIPATION FEE

Fee depends on registration date.

AWARDS

All finishers receive souvenirs.
